The Lodge on Sebec Lake is in an ideal location for a variety of activities in Northern Maine. We are located at the east end of the lake in Sebec Village, which offers the best sunset views. Just 15 minutes to Dover-Foxcroft, it combines a peaceful getaway on the lake, with close access to town for groceries, dining, and supplies. The lodge is located in the heart of the Maine outdoors.
The Lodge at Sebec Lake is in a peaceful location at the end of Sunset Ridge Rd. It is made up of 3 separate buildings. The Lodge, the Main House and the Rustic Cabin. Rooms can be rented individually, or the entire lodge can be rented depending on season and availability. We prefer week long bookings in the peak summer months (July-August) but we are flexible. The Lodge can sleep up to 11 people upstairs and there is a common room downstairs for socializing, games and relaxing.
The guest kitchen and dining room are located downstairs in the Main House. The kitchen is complete with plates silverware and kitchen utensils. There is also a full bath downstairs for use by guests. The owners live upstairs in a separate residence.
The Rustic Cabin has one room, sleeps up to 2 , has electricity, and a private porch. Guests of the rustic cabin use the kitchen and full bath in the Main House as the cabin does not have a bathroom located inside.
The Lodge has 3 bedrooms and two full baths upstairs, plus a large recreational room (living and dining room plus a small kitchen) on the first floor.
The Moose room has a queen, a full and a twin bed $75.00/night
The Deer room has 2 full beds $65.00/night
The Duck room has 2 twins $35.00/night
The Rustic Cabin has 2 twin beds $25.00/night
The entire lodge can also be rented for 150.00/ night.
Minimum of 3 nights please.
There is a tent camping site available on request.
The property is located on the lake with 300' of swimmable waterfront access, dock, and boat access. Sebec Lake is covers 6,803 acres and is up to 327 ft deep and one of the top 10 cleanest lakes in Maine. It has great fishing for lake trout and bass. There are also numerous brooks and rivers for fishing nearby.
In addition to lake activities, we are located close to thousands of hiking trails. Borestone Mountain Audubon Sanctuary, Baxter State Park, Katahdin Ironworks State historic site, and Gulf Hagas offer the best wildlife viewing and hiking in the North Maine Woods. The lodge is an ideal location for hunting and foliage watching in the fall and there is direct access to the interstate ATV and snowmobile trail network near the property. We can direct you to many more activities, such as White Water Rafting, guided hunting/fishing trips, and bird watching. We also recommend just sitting on the beach at the lodge and enjoying the sound of the loons and watching the eagles fly overhead.
