Natural Wonder. Endless Discovery.

Snowmobile Clubs

The Maine Highlands has some of the most popular and well-groomed snowmobile trails in the entire state. People travel from all over New England to ride in our region—and for good reason! The trails are safe, the views are picturesque, and you can get just about anywhere on your sled.

Our local snowmobile clubs work tirelessly to groom their trails for all to enjoy. Without their hard work and dedication, the trail system would not be nearly as robust and well-traveled as it is each winter.

If you’re looking for a great place to snowmobile this winter, look no further! The Maine Snowmobile Association makes planning your trip easy with their interactive statewide ITS map and local maps.

Don’t have your own snowmobile? No worries! You can rent one!

We’ve compiled a list of the local snowmobile clubs below. Each club is a wealth of knowledge about the trails in their area. You can also contact the local chambers of commerce for more information on trip planning and a list of area events.
